Change Makers 2 Coffs Harbour

Change Makers saw a group of youth from across the Mid North Coast come together to have fun and work together on a range of youth-inspired projects. Presenting their ideas and projects at the Bellingen Community Markets in September was the highlight of the term where the youth engaged with the community:

  • raising awareness about climate change with community members completing eco-footprints

  • encouraging people to live more sustainably, giving out loofahs, seeds/seedlings and a homemade citrus cleaner made by the group

  • sharing learnings about the importance of frogs and their habitat, showing a demonstration frog pond and giving out pamphlets created by the group

  • Community members and attendees interacted and connected with the Change Makers at their educational stall held at the local monthly markets. Participants informed the public on their learnings in areas of sustainability, biodiversity, and ecological awareness.
