We partner with grant makers and philanthropic organisations that value sustainable development and the environment.
We value mutually beneficial partnerships that seek to achieve fundersβ priorities, plans, or strategies, as well our OzGREEN Impact Goals (OIGs). Our programs also align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
Humans are hardwired to cooperate and collaborate
What We Do
We activate communities
to protect the planet.
One young person, one community, one school, one river, one Council, one conference, one leader, one festival, one workshop at a time.
We partner to create systemic and transformational change in the world.
The UNβs Sustainable Development Goals are a universal call for action to end poverty, protect the planet and improve the lives and prospects of everyone, everywhere. The 2022 IPCC Report tells us that we need to halve greenhouse gases this decade and immediately scale up adaption.
At OzGREEN, we know that the world does not work in simple or linear ways. Therefore, only a systemic approach will create more sustainable world.
Why systemic change?
βSystemic change may originate from systems thinking, strategic planning, and design, but societal shifts only come through the hard work of many teams across a system. The best plan in the world means nothing if we don't act.β

Our Stories
The stories of the people that we work with illustrate the far reaching and long-term impacts of the work that we do.
Time and time again, these impacts are far beyond anything we could ever have imagined was possible. We hope you enjoy reading these stories of people whose call to action or call to lead was ignited through an OzGREEN program.

I believe in the power of OzGREENβs programs to change the world one leader at a time.β

Hayley Morris
βSo much of what Iβve been able to do is because of OzGREEN and the involvement that I had there at such a young age. It has really been transformative in setting my life up.β
Chair, Sustainable Table
Nick Allardice
βOver an incredibly transformative workshop, I not only clarified my values and decided what I really wanted to stand for as a human, but also, really committed myself, not just to the talk, but to the action.β

There are many ways to work with us.
We partner with grant makers and philanthropic organisations in many different ways.
Employing young people into employment
Our most preferred partnership package is to employ a young person/s into employment with support from our team and a series of events for that young person to deliver into a community. Learn why employing young people into stable employment is a key part of creating positive change in the world.
2. Funding a major event
Powering us to deliver a major event, such as the Thrive Festival, allows us to enage with a wide range of stakeholders within a community at a number of different levels and saturate a community with inspiration for change.
3. Funding a program or series of programs
Supporting us to deliver a program, or series of programs, into a communityβ¦. Funders may also work with us to support a program by funding our most urgent priorities for that program, such as equipment, volunteer resources or training.
4. Funding a workshop or series of workshops
We work with funders to deliver workshops or series of workshops into a community.
