Work Experience Pathways

March-April 2023 | Bellingen, NSW, Australia | 10 Students

We provided work experience pathways for 10 students from a range of backgrounds including disengaged youth. These students worked alongside the OzGREEN team and developed a range of unique skills and gained experience working across a number of programs including helping to organise and run a number of different events.

Mentored by experienced Program Managers as well as our Youth Activities Coordinators, work experience students developed life and work ready skills through participating in meaningful work.

  • "Volunteering with OzGREEN has given me a wide range of experiences with both community activities and environmental conservation. I’ve learnt how the two are interwoven together and each is crucial to the other’s success. I’ve met wonderful people and seen community come together to help tackle a global issue. Volunteering was so much fun, I did and learnt a lot of interesting things!"
