Fair Thora Day

October 2022 | Thora Hall, Thora, NSW, Australia

A celebration of connectedness and resilience.

Fair Thora Day was a community festival with talks from Gumbaynggirr Elders and local experts, community visioning, live music, and sharing of local food surplus. Held at the Thora Community Hall, it attracted residents from Thora, Darkwood, Gordonville, Bellingen, and Boggy Creek. The event was designed by OzGREEN’s volunteers in a Resilient Communities workshop held in 2021.
