Wellbeing and sustainability are deeply interconnected, and they reinforce each other positively.
Wellbeing is the foundation from which everything else is built upon -including sustainability action.
We know that spending time in nature positively impacts our wellbeing.
We run a host of nature connection events under our Wellbeing pillar, some for all ages, and some specifically for young people.
Wellbeing Workshops, Programs & Camps
We are engaged by Councils, Schools, Corporates or Community Groups to deliver wellbeing workshops, programs and camps.

Camp.ME
A camp for young people aged 12 to 16 years full of adventure and activities set in the rainforest at Yarrahapinni and focused on health and wellbeing.

Tree Planting Workshops
We work with local partners to host tree planting events where schools and/or community members weed, plant trees and maintaining plantings.

Bird Language Workshops
We host bird language workshops where bird expert, Andrew Turbill, shares knowledge and insights about how we can connect deeply and profoundly with natural landscapes through paying close attention to birds.

Mid North Coast Bushwalks
We provide opportunities to explore and appreciate the Mid North Coast's beautiful natural environment. We offer a variety of walks between 4 and 10 kilometres long that are suitable for most levels of fitness.

Walks with Ecologists
We partner with a local ecologists to deliver a bushwalk in a culturally and environmentally significant areas. Through informative ecological insights, immersion in beautiful landscapes and story-telling, guest speakers unveil the history and significance of the land and participants gain a deep connection to the environment.

Grant Writing Workshops
Give your community the best chance to secure that government grant. Attend this step by step workshop where you will learn the art of grant writing. Empower your community group to make a positive impact by mastering the skills necessary to secure vital funding for change.

Youth Leading the World Workshops
OzGREEN trains local people to run Youth Leading the World in their own school or community. Participants learn how to organise and facilitate, and features skills training in measuring eco-footprint, presentation skills, strategic questioning and deep listening, visioning, innovation and creative thinking, creating vibrant goals, creating action plans, and keeping the energy up with fun and purposeful games.

Community Preparedness Days
We partner with local organisations to deliver a half-day workshop, we run a series of community building activities and facilitate community mentors to lead small group sessions on a variety of topics. Content is specifically tailored to each community.

A fun interactive workshop to help participants download, install and explore emergency related apps on their mobile device, that will help them stay safe during weather events and fires.

'5 Things' Resilience Workshops
We bring communities together to share practical and achievable disaster preparedness actions. Participants share and learn 5 staple foods to keep in the pantry to prepare for food supply shortages, 5 reliable sources of local information to use during a disaster, 5 resilient plants to grow in the garden to use as food sources during disasters, and 5 things to keep in an emergency evacuation kit then share a meal cooked with examples of food staples that can be kept on hand for during emergencies.
