Equipment:

  • Eye glasses

  • Latex gloves

  • Thermometer


1. Ensure the thermometer is completely dry.

2. Hold the thermometer at waist height by the top of the thermometer in the shade of your body.

3. Wait for 3 minutes before reading the thermometer to allow time for calibration.

4. Ask another person to check the result

5. Record your result.


Tip : If the blue alcohol liquid in the tube develops bubbles or separates Run gradually warmer water (>50Β°C) along the tube until the bubbles disappear or the liquid rejoins. Then let it cool slowly. The bubble should disappear. If not, repeat the process.
