Always add the details of your chemical’s expiry dates to the ‘Chemical Expiry Dates Sheet’ when adding them to your kit. This will save you time each month and gives you an easy way to check over all of the expiry dates for all of your chemicals to see if any of them need replacing (so that you don’t have to individually check each bottle every month).

If an item is going to be out of date by next month's testing, leave them somewhere safe out of your kit as a reminder to replace them. There is a box in the All-Hours Refills Cupboard for your expired chemicals. See Part 3.3 for more info.

1. Check the Expired Chemicals Sheet to see if any chemicals need replacing.

2. Check you kit against the kit checklist.

In addition to this, check your kit against the Kit Checklist to see if there are any other items that need replacing. The kit checklist should be laminated sheet in your kit. Also, see kit checklists below (links coming soon) :
